During the inauguration, Minister Nand Gopal Gupta toured the showroom and appreciated the craftsmanship and innovation on display. He said that the Uttar Pradesh government is continuously working to promote industrial investment and innovation-led enterprises in the state. Referring to large-scale investments, he noted that four major companies, including Foxconn, are investing nearly ₹10,000 crore in manufacturing projects such as semiconductor fabrication units near Jewar Airport, which will strengthen India’s self-reliance. He added that innovation-driven industries not only generate employment opportunities for local youth and artisans but also help position cities like Lucknow as emerging hubs of trade, design, and creativity.
On the occasion, Amitabh Johri, founder of Luxurwood and a resident of Lucknow, said that the brand aims to give epoxy furniture a new and premium identity, beginning from Lucknow and gradually expanding across Uttar Pradesh and the country. He stated that Luxurwood matches international brands in terms of quality, durability, and design, with customization as its key strength. According to him, epoxy furniture produced in India is more cost-effective than in many other countries, while maintaining global standards of finish and quality.

He further highlighted that these advantages open up strong export possibilities for Luxurwood in the coming years, and the brand plans to expand into international markets, contributing to global recognition of the ‘Make in India’ initiative.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by several prominent personalities from the architecture and design fraternity, including Ashok Kumar, Principal Architect, Arc-N-Design; Architect Prashant Pal Singh, President, Lucknow Architects Association; Architect Aviral Agarwal, Chairman, IIID Lucknow; and Architect Devesh Mani Tripathi, General Secretary, IIA Uttar Pradesh Chapter.
